Teaching

Causes of War (undergraduate course, B-level) The course focuses on issues and context for the onset of both interstate and intrastate conflict. The causes of war and crisis escalation are investigated both theoretically and empirically, using different perspectives and levels-of-analyses. In particular, the course discusses both rational choice theories and how psychological factors can influence the behavior of individuals and groups.
