Current Research
I aim to test theoretical mechanisms in the literature linking diasporas to the risk of civil war or the durability of peace. I also reflect upon international peacebuilding from a critical perspective, and aim to test key components of liberal peace theory using new data. This project involves creating a unique and comprehensive dataset on conflict-generated diasporas of the former Yugoslavia.
