Annual Seminar Uppsala Rotary Peace Center

Friday 21 April the Annual Seminar for Uppsala Rotary Peace Center took place in Uppsala University Main Building. The keynote speaker was Ilwad Elman, Director of Programs and Development at the Elman Peace and Human Rights Centre (Somalia) and a leader at the forefront of the Somali peace process.

The event was a great success with both time for coffee and mingle as for presentations and panels. Ilwad Elman inspired the audiens with her keynote presentation.
She is a global authority on ending conflict and preventing violent extremism, and recipient of several prestigious awards.

The Annual Seminar is partly organized to celebrate that Class XX Fellows are about to graduate. During the seminar they shared highlights from their studies and field experiences.
